“If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine.” — Ernesto Che Guevara
Adorned Revolutionary, the bulwark of social justice in Liberia and impeccable statesman Prof. Alaric Tokpa alias ‘Che Guevara’ has for decades and now unyieldingly trembled at every injustice sadistically perpetrated against the suffering Liberian masses by successive ruling establishments with profound indignation and consternation—and with fire and fury oozing from his belly. He does so at the peril of his precious life— surviving countless barbaric attempts by corrupt, hawkish, and predictory ruling gangs desperately seeking to exterminate him at all costs.
The firebrand patriot tells us the struggle to make Liberia a country that puts dignity on all its people, not few of its people and where social justice and egalitarianism are the cultural hallmarks must continue unabated and if worth his life and the lives of other comrades posted at the barricades holding the forte, let it be. The redemption of our country is as good as our blood, he posits. The erudite Professor and dialectics machine shares the thought of his Mentor Che Guevara that “We have no right to believe that freedom can be won without a struggle.”
For his avowed dedication to the struggle to redeem our people from a century-plus of decadence and his valorous resistance to injustice and unmatched love for our country and people, we say chapeau and offer our Golden Salute, stand in solidarity and celebrate the life of the distinguished and iconic firebrand Patriot, renowned Pan-Africanist, Revolutionary Extraordinaire, erudite and decorated African Scholar and a true and illustrious Son of the Liberian Soil, Prof. Alaric Tokpa alias “The Che”.
Hands-off The Che, we are warning you with “RED EYES”. May those who have ears to hear, hear, and who have eyes to see, see. And may we say more?
BLOOD IN OUR EYES!!
