Nigeria’s caretaker head coach, Samson Siasia, has included a handful of new faces, including Fanendo Adi and Stanley Amuzie, in his 42-man roster for the 2017 Afcon qualifying games against Egypt in March.

Some of the new players were drawn from the under-23 team which Siasia managed before he took charge of the Super Eagles following Sunday Oliseh’s resignation last month.

Sincere Seth and Segun Oduduwa are new inclusions from the domestic front. Under-23 captain Azubuike Okechukwu is also in the mix.

New call-ups from overseas are Portugal-based Stanley Amuzie and Portland Timbers forward Fanendo Adi.

However, Siasia has stuck to the regulars that include John Obi Mikel, Elderson Echiejile, Carl Ikeme, Odion Ighalo, Moses Simon, Victor Moses and team captain Ahmed Musa.
